    The Brazoria County Peace Officers Association is a non-profit organization that supports our community in various ways.  We raise money throughout the year to sponsor many activities.  In the past, our organization has donated over $134,000.00 toward educational scholarships, The Brazoria County Fair Association, Military Moms & Wives and Breast Cancer Awareness. Additionally, we are proud to say that we have assisted officers and their families during times of catastrophic illness. 

     This year the BCPOA is hosting its 7^th annual 5k run/walk on December 2, 2017.  We are proud to announce the 2013 event raised over $3,000.00 which was used to pay for mammograms for women that need financial assistance.  Our 2014 event raised over $5,000 and was donated to the Mermaid Project and Project Pink Warrior for Breast Cancer awareness and services.  The 2015 event was just as successful as previous years, in that we raised over $6,000.  We were able to make a donation of $3,000 to Project Pink Warrior and the Mermaid Project.  2016 was not as large as previous years, but we were still able to raise funds to donate $1,000 to the Mermaid Project.  This year we hope to hold an even larger race event.  We also hope that you will continue to sponsor this event that assists us in our fight against breast cancer.
