The Tornados Running Club has a 29-year history of running excellence and is a member club of the Houston Area Road Runner’s Association (HARRA). The club was the first predominantly Latino running club, and has grown into a culturally diverse group of runners.

The Cinco de Mayo 5K & Kid’s K is one of two races the club hosts annually. It is our “Give Back to the Community” race. Since its inception in 2005 we have given 13 scholarships totaling $40,200.
