JOINING TOGETHER, BRIDGING COMMUNITY
24th  Annual Bridge Fest
Beginning as a celebration of the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway bridge, Bridge Fest continues to be an important event in our community. With three distances for runners, joggers and walkers to choose from, the race is designed to encourage participation from all abilities and ages.
Net proceeds benefit the annual fundraising campaign of the Lake Houston Family YMCA, which helps everyone, regardless of age, income or background, have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at the Y.

COURSE
Starting and finishing at the Y, the 5K course is a fast, accurately measured, USTA certified TX 9800 4ETM with only one turn. There will be a medical station at the start/finish line and water stations along the course.
 
RACE DAY PARKING
The first 150 individuals/families to register will receive a parking pass which will allow them to park at the YMCA. Families will receive parking pass. Other participants may park their cars along Bens View and Kings Crossing Drive, just north of the YMCA. Additional parking is also available on Magnolia Cove, south of the YMCA. Shuttle buses will be available from Town Center. Participants with parking passes must be in the parking lot by 8 am, with no exceptions. All individuals with disabilities and participants of the special needs race will receive a parking pass.
 
PACKET PICKUP & REGISTRATION
The registration deadline is Friday, February 5. Packets for those who register by the deadline will be available at the Lake Houston Family YMCA on February 5 from 9 am-9 pm. Late registration will continue up to 7:30 am the day of the race.
 
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHALLENGE
Having fun, being healthy and helping neighbors
The Bridge Fest Elementary School Challenge offers kids the opportunity to have fun and realize their potential while learning the importance of helping their community.
The elementary school that has the highest percentage of their student body participate in Bridge Fest will receive a trophy to display for a year, have their group photo in the next year's brochure and their school name engraved on the Bridge Fest plaque hanging at the YMCA.
