Event Information

The annual Freedom Run will be held on July 2nd, 2016 and is an annual fundraiser to support Veteran’s Programs at a local non-profit behavioral healthcare agency the Ridge House. Last year, we had 200 participants participating in 3 distances as they rocked with the band Beatles Flashback. The band will be BACK for 2016 and we are excited to invite you to start your Independence Day Weekend RIGHT!

When: July 2nd, 2016

Time: 7:00am

Where: Start and finish at Idelwild Park. Runs will access the Truckee River Path moving West towards Mayberry Drive allowing for cooler temperatures and great scenery.

Distances: The Freedom Run will offer a 1 Mile Walk and Kids Fun run, 5K run, and 10K run to encourage all abilities for this festive run.

Come celebrate the 4th of July by participating with friends and family at the Annual Freedom Run. This event is hosted by The Ridge House.
