2013 Surfside Beach Marathon and Half Marathon

OverNite Software Surfside Beach Marathon & Half Marathon - Can you take the beach??  The only Marathon in the US run entirely on the beach.  Our beach is like few others for running.  The sand is firm, and relatively flat.  Normally, your shoe will leave about a 1 cm impression in the sand.  Afterward, we feed you well, usually including catered BBQ.  (This year our menu is yet to be announced, but it will not disappoint).  We also have smoothies and other goodies after the race.   We have unique awards, and medals for all finishers of the Marathon and the Half.
