Please join us! The 9th Annual Snowball Run features something for everyone including a chip-timed 5K, cash prizes, a DJ, activities for the kids and a scenic greenbelt course. Speedy racers, casual joggers, strollers and walkers are all welcome!  Dress in your wintery best and best dressed will win a prize!

Course description:
5K
An out and back, fast, flat course for serious runners and for those looking for serious fun! This run/walk will be chip timed and winter-themed costumes are greatly encouraged. Prizes for fastest runners as well as best adult male and female costumes (21+) will be awarded. Runners will receive a t-shirt and Snowball Run bag, while supplies last. Register EARLY to guarantee your shirt and bag.  Runners 12 and are automatically registered for the 50 Yard Dash.
1K
An out and back flat course for kids and kids at heart!  Be sure to dress to impress in your wintry best! Have you ever run dressed up as a poinsettia, candy cane or a gingerbread man?  This is your chance!  The course will be monitored by course stewards to ensure the safety of our junior runners.  Runners will receive a t-shirt and Snowball Run bag, while supplies last.  Register EARLY to guarantee your backpack & tshirts. Runners 12 and under are automatically registered for the 50 Yard Dash.
50 Yard Dash
After the 5K and 1K races, the real fun begins!  Cheer on kids of all ages as they speed their way to the finish line. Registration includes
a numbered bib, and a medal.

** Kids activities such as rock wall and face painting be ongoing at the Infinity Science Park from 9:15 am – 11:00 am.  Dress in your wintery best for a chance to win a prize in the costume contest.

Course is sanctioned by USATF.  5K Certification:  Sanction #

The start and finish line as well as all activities will take place at the Infinity Science Park and in the park’s parking lot located next to Pines Montessori School:

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded for Fastest 5k Male and Fastest 5k Female (cash prizes) and Gift Prizes for Best Costume Adult Male (21+), Adult Female (21+), and Child Costumes.   

Dress to Impress!:
Go on...have a "ball!"  Costumes celebrating the holiday season are greatly encouraged!  Prizes will be awarded for best costumes.

Event registration:
Online registration will close at midnight November 30, 2018.  Race day registration will be available.

•  5K Registration – Includes bib number, timing chip, t-shirt (while supplies last).  Racers 12 and under and are automatically registered for the 50 Yard Dash.
  - $35 if registered by November 26, 2018.  $40 if registering on or after November 30, 2018.
• 1K Registration – Includes bib number and bags(while supplies last). Racers 12 and under and are automatically registered for the 50  Yard Dash.
   - $25 if registered by November 26, 2018.  $30 if registering on or after November 30, 2018.
•  50 Yard Dash Registration – Includes bib number, and finishers medal.
   - $15 up to and including race day (no additional charge for late registrations).

Family/Team discounts:  Families or Teams of 5 or more receive 10% off their total registration. Minimum purchase must meet or exceed $60.00 to qualify. Does not apply to registrations received on or after November 26, 2018. Please use Discount Code “GROUP” when registering.
