The 3rd Annual Ima’s Home for Children 5K FunRun & Walk will take place Feb 20, at 8am on the campus of Life
Church. This letter is to inform you of an opportunity to become a sponsor for this race. If you’re not aware of Ima’s
Home for Children, the following is a brief summary from our Pastor who founded this incredible ministry.
While driving through the crowded streets of Manila, Philippines, I heard God speak to me, “If you build it, I will
use it not only for the salvation of children, but I will use those children to make a difference in their city and country.”
These words reverberated through my heart as I looked into the eyes of a young Filipino girl who was standing
on a street corner just a few feet away from me, hands held out, silently begging for a few pesos. This experience
penetrated my heart and ignited a burning vision.
After several years of nurturing this vision, planning and seeing the construction through to completion, Ima’s
Home for Children became a reality in August, 2013. Currently, there are 36 children in the orphanage who are fed,
housed, educated and loved by an incredible staff on a daily basis. Several more are expected by year end. Your donation
goes completely to the daily operation of Ima’s Home. There are no middle-men involved as the orphanage is
100% privately funded.
