Michael B. Young grew up in our program beginning as Mitey Mite ski racer, then freestyle skier, then coaching. Michael and his father Barry revitalized our freeride program which is thriving. Michael and Barry first brought us this Big Mountain Competition the year before Michael passed. In celebration of Michael's life, BBSEF is pleased to continue promoting freesking/riding Big Mountain competitions and competitors. We have an endowment in Michael's memory to support freesking/riding through BBSEF. Contributions to this endowment have helped provide a variety of equipment and improvements.
