26th Annual Pinocchio's Moms on the Run

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Moms on the Run requires approximately many volunteers to put on our annual Mother's Day event. We mostly need course marshals that will be assigned specific locations associated with the walking event. Volunteers usually need to be available from 7:00 am to 11:00 am on Mother's Day, May 10th 2026. Volunteers will also be required to pick up their volunteer "packet" on the Saturday prior to the event at Pinocchio's Bar & Grill Reno (5995 S. Virginia St. Reno, NV 89502) between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. The packet will include your Moms on the Run swag, assigned location and final instructions.

Once you volunteer you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinators for confirmation. Volunteers will be contacted approximately 10 days before the event with a reminder to pick up their Volunteer Packets on Saturday.

If circumstances will prevent a volunteer from participating on the event day, it is imperative the volunteer contact our Volunteer Coordinators at victoriavohland@gmail.com at the earliest possible opportunity. Every location needs to have an assigned volunteer that will be there for the safety of all our participants and to facilitate local traffic around the event.

High school students can complete Community Service hours by volunteering. Student must provide their own forms.

Please read any waiver carefully. It includes a release of liability and waiver of legal rights and deprives you of the ability to sue certain parties. Do not agree to this document unless you have read and understood it in its entirety. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood the text presented to you as part of the registration process. You also understand and agree that events carry certain inherent dangers and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation personal injury, property damage or death. Your ability to participate in the event(s) is/are subject to your agreement to the waiver and by agreeing herein, you accept and agree to the terms of the and release agreement. You must be over 18 years of age OR the parent/legal guardian of a minor under 18 years of age OR the legal guardian of an incapacitated and/or mentally challenged person in order to agree to the text below.

PINOCCHIO’S MOMS ON THE RUN PARTICIPANT ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS

I UNDERSTAND THAT MY CONSENT TO THESE PROVISIONS IS GIVEN IN CONSIDERATION OF THE ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REGISTRATION AND FOR BEING PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN PINOCCHIO'S MOMS ON THE RUN ("MOTR") ANNUAL WALK ("EVENT"). I AM A VOLUNTARY PARTICIPANT IN THIS EVENT AND AM IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION. I HEREBY ASSUME FULL AND COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR ACCIDENT THAT MAY OCCUR DURING MY PARTICIPATION IN THIS EVENT, INCLUDING POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO AND ILLNESS FROM INFECTIOUS DISEASES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO COVID-19. I HEREBY EXPRESSLY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS MOTR AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, EVENT SPONSORS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, "RELEASEES"), FROM ANY CLAIMS I MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR ATTRIBUTABLE TO MY PARTICIPATION IN THIS EVENT, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY ME OR OTHERS, WHETHER THE SAME BE CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RELEASEES, OR OTHERWISE. I HEREBY EXPRESSLY WAIVE, AND COVENANT NOT TO MAKE OR BRING, ANY SUCH CLAIM AGAINST ANY RELEASEES, AND FOREVER RELEASE AND DISCHARGE RELEASEES FROM LIABILITY UNDER SUCH CLAIMS. I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION REGARDING THE SCOPE OF THIS RELEASE OR ARISING UNDER THIS RELEASE MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN THE FEDERAL AND STATE COURTS LOCATED IN WASHOE COUNTY, NEVADA, AND I HEREBY CONSENT TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF SUCH COURTS. IF I DO NOT FOLLOW ALL THE RULES OF THIS EVENT, I UNDERSTAND THAT I MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT I MUST STAY ON THE WALKING PATH AT ALL TIMES AND STAY AWAY FROM THE FEDERALLY PROTECTED WETLANDS AREA AROUND THE WALKING PATH. I GIVE MY FULL PERMISSION TO MOTR, EVENT AFFILIATES, AND SPONSORS TO USE ANY PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO RECORDINGS, OR OTHER RECORDINGS OF ME THAT ARE MADE DURING THE COURSE OF THIS EVENT.
