About HARRA:
Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization founded in 1979. HARRA serves as the umbrella organization for more than 40 run clubs in the Houston area. Among its many activities, HARRA works with clubs to coordinate club competitions, race series, educational opportunities, and other events that benefit the Houston running community. HARRA also gives the running community a voice on issues affecting all runners in the Houston area.
* The HARRA uses the term “running” to encompass the broad spectrum of term running, including competitive running, jogging, fitness walking, race walking, and adaptive chair fitness/racing on roads, trails, and tracks.
