Returning Member Spring Training

Austin Fit Spring Training: Running, Walking and Jumpstart Programs

Training Programs:

  • Running Program: Half Marathon Training
  • Walking Program: 10K Training
  • Jump Start (10K): 10K Training

Austin Fit SPRING Training Program is back with HALF Marathon and 10K training, led by our team of experienced coaches. All of our coaches are USAFIT certified, and two are also RRCA certified. Spring is the perfect time to kick-start your fitness journey, and there's no better way to do it than with Austin Fit!

We're all about helping others make positive and life altering changes. So, get ready for an uplifting, motivational, and TOTAL fitness experience. We truly cater to both newbies, experienced runners and walkers in our training program.

Runners, we have coaches who train from a 9 min. mile pace to a 14 min. mile pace.

Walk Fit (10K), for our Spring 10K program, we have coaches who train from a 16 min. mile pace and up.

Jump Start (10K), this program is perfect for new runners, runners who have stopped training due to injury or for runners who want to train for a 10K. The "Spring" Jump Start - 10K program is a slow paced, low interval (run/walk) training that helps with that "jump-start" you may need to get back into running.

When joining the Austin Fit SPRING training program, you receive:

  • Goal-oriented training programs in a fun, friendly, and non-intimidating environment
  • 15% off our sponsored shoe provider products (excluding watches, GPS, etc.)
  • Austin Fit training shirt or an option for an Austin Fit cap or gloves; and, a safety shoe tag
  • Easy-to-follow weekly training schedules for all abilities.

  • Educational Seminars on Important Training, Nutrition and Racing Information
  • Secured water stops onsite and at the 4-mile mark; and, routes through iconic Austin neighborhoods
  • PRINTED routes available before Saturday long run/walk
  • Weekly Informative Newsletters
  • Water and Gatorade on the Saturday race course after 4 miles, and post-run/walk snacks onsite
