VIRTUAL: 16 Week Spring Training Camp
Join Space Coast Runners for our Spring Training Camp which will run from January 14 - May 4, 2024. The 16-week training program presented by New Wave PT is geared towards all running levels, including a run/walk program for those just getting started or who prefer that method. We also offer a virtual registration option. The camp will have two goal races with the first being the Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile* on April 13, 2025 and then it will shift to some speedier workouts to conclude with Eat My Crust 5K* on May 4, 2025. Participants do not need to be running either race to participate as we'll have runners with different goals ranging from 5K to the full marathon! Coaching will be conducted by Kaitlin Donner, along with designated pace leaders.
Training rotates location on Tuesday evenings. Sunday long runs will also rotate between Oars & Paddles, Costco Viera and Cocoa Village.
Camp Schedule
✔️ November 2024: Camp Registration opens
✔️ January 5, 2025: Coaches Meet & Greet
✔️ January 14: Training begins: In-person, midweek workouts begin in the Satellite Beach area at 6PM
✔️ January 19: In-person Sunday workouts begin at 6AM rotating locations around Brevard Co.
✔️ April 13: Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile
✔️ May 4: Eat My Crust 5K
Athletes will receive:
BONUS! Add a 1-hour group strength session each week at New Wave PT & Sports Rehab. These workout sessions address common strength and mobility imbalances in distance runners.

This camp is open to both Space Coast Runners members and non-members. Register early to receive the best pricing. Rates increase on January 2, 2025
*Registration for the Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile and the Eat My Crust 5K is not included with camp registration.
