SHE RUNS THE FOX 5K

THE RACE: Fox River Trail Runners is proud to host She Runs The Fox 5K Run/Walk along the beautiful Fox River. Join us on as we come together for an evening of laughter, celebration, and sisterhood. Bring your friends and family and join in the fun.  This is a an event celebrating women of all ages and abilities!  FRTR will donate $5 per participant registration, together with any participant donations above and beyond registration fees, to Mutual Ground, a great local organization providing counsel and support to those affected by domestic and sexual violence and substance abuse disorders. In 2024 your donations, combined with FRTR’s $5 per registrant donation, generated a total of $3,000 for that wonderful charity! Race day registration and packet pick-up: Thursday, June 12, 5:00 - 6:25 pm at Pal Joey's

Race start: River & Spring Street

5k Fun Run/Walk Starts at 6:30 PM

Included in your registration fee

• Post-race party at Pal Joey's with post-race food and one complimentary glass of wine/seltzer/beer (participants over 21, of course!)
• She Runs the Fox headband
• Youth registration also includes a coupon for one free scoop of ice cream from Batavia Creamery

This is a great 5K course!

• Start at River Street and Spring Street in downtown Batavia, IL
• Head south and immediately turn right to head west across the Fox River bridge to the train depot museum
• Then turn right and head north along the Fox River Trail on the west side river path until the Fox River bridge near the Japanese Gardens
• Turn right to head east across the river to the Fox River Trail east side river path
• Turn right to head south along the Fox River Trail on the east side river path
• Finish near Pal Joey's for the post-race party!

Race registrations include a She Runs the Fox logo Impulse Cooling Headband (rough mockup below). 

No Medals - this is a fun run but we have prizes. Like last year we will have a number locally donated gift baskets and gift certificates to give away.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the race will have their choice of a gift basket as their prize!!! Bib numbers/runner names will be drawn in a raffle for the remaining prizes--must be present to win!

All runners 13 and up will receive one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased during registration and/or at packet pickup.

The top 3 youth runners (12 & under) will receive gift certificates to Batavia Creamery.
