Power in Motion, sponsored by HARRA (Houston Area Road Runners Association), is a 10-week fitness program aimed at training you to complete a 5k regardless of your skill level. PIM offers guidance, support, encouragement, training tips, and a comprehensive training regimen for people who want to learn to walk, run, or improve their running ability.
The Spring 2023 session of Power in Motion meets for 10 weeks on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, starting on Wednesday March 1st. Participants are strongly encouraged (but not required) to finish the season with our goal race. This season, our goal race is the Sprint for Life 5K on Saturday May 6th.
When you register for PIM, you have the option of adding another person at no extra cost - our "Buddy" program. The additional person must not have previously participated in PIM.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No strollers or pets are allowed. We meet near the Memorial Park Fitness Center located at 6402 Arnot St, Houston, Tx 77007
