The SCR Spring 10 Week Training Program is brand new! It's designed by New Wave Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation to help new and newly returning runners learn to train and complete a 5K race in a fun, social and energetic atmosphere.
Have a few miles under your belt? We have training for seasoned runners too!
Our goal is to educate, train effectively and build upon your active lifestyle. The new spring program will begin on February 25, 2020 and run through May 3, 2020. Group training and runs will be held on Tuesday at 6PM at the Satellite Beach HS track. Sunday runs will be held at 6AM at different locations around Brevard. Group runs will help participants stay accountable and motivated by others going through a similar experience.
The spring training session includes one (1) entry into the Eat My Crust 5K and SCR training shirt. Additionally, you can choose to include 10 New Wave strength classes for $60 (usually $200).
Group classes are one-hour long and designed to target running specific muscle groups to develop injury resilience and overall strenth/power to have you racing at your best! Classes are time-based instead of repetition-based to keep everyone working out together and classes will be periodized over 10 weeks to coincide with the 10 week SCR running camp.
