Therefore, the competition for the Colleyville 5k Champions Series “C5KCS” has been canceled for 2017 as well. Looking for sponsors. Please send a note to chhspantherband5k,@gmail.com if interested.
The Colleyville 5k Championship Series (C5kCS) is a series of three 5k races that are all held in the City of Colleyville, Texas. At each 5k event, runners will earn points in descending order base on the fastest times at each event. The runners earning the most points after the 3rd race will be awarded a cash prize. For each gender, the cash prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place – $300
- 2nd Place – $150
- 3rd Place – $75
The 5k events in order that they occur are:
Colleyville Heritage High School Marching Band, CHHS Panther Band 5k – March 25, 2017- 1st United Methodist Church of Colleyville, Run for Rescue 5k – April 8, 2017
- The Colleyville Lions Club, xSIGHTMENT Run 5k – June 3, 2017
