Welcome 2020-21 USA FIT Woodlands Season!

The USA FIT Woodlands Annual Training Program is back with full marathon and half marathon training programs led by USA FIT Certified Coaches. USA FIT Woodlands is all about helping others make positive, life-altering changes. So get ready for an uplifting, motivational, and total fitness experience as we train for goal races in October, January, and March. We cater to both new and experienced runners and walkers to accommodate a wide variety of fitness levels. Through the weeks, you’ll reach new milestones, learn new things about running or walking, discover personal characteristics you may not have recognized previously, and enjoy the camaraderie of our running Woodlands Fit family.

When you join the 2020-21 USA FIT Woodlands training program, you receive:

  • Goal-oriented training program in a fun, friendly, non-intimidating environment
  • A USA FIT Woodlands technical training shirt and safety shoe tag
  • Easy-to-follow weekly training schedules for all abilities
  • Training for multiple races including 
    • 10 for Texas & Armadillo 5K in October, 
    • Aramco Half Marathon & Chevron Houston Marathon in January
    • USA FIT Marathon & Fort Bend Kia Half Marathon in January
    • The Woodlands Marathon Events in March 
  • Coach-led and coach-supported Saturday long runs with USA Fit certified and experienced coaches for all pace and ability levels

Full & Half Marathon Running Groups - These programs are the hallmark of USA FIT training led by talented coaches equipped with years and miles of experience and solid pace teams. If you've ever placed a long distance event on your bucket list, choose the distance that fits your goal!

NEW THIS SEASON - Half Marathon Walking Group - Complimenting the running programs offered, 2020 Woodlands Fit Walkers will train for half marathon events in January and March. If you’ve ever wanted to get moving but feel like running is not right for you, this is your group!

Initial Pace Placement Run - We will begin training in mid-July, but we will meet for initial pace placement on July 18, the Saturday before training begins. At that initial gathering, you will run or walk an easy mile if you’re registering for half marathon training or an easy 2-mile route if you are registering for full marathon training. No matter the distance, this run/walk should be done at an easy conversational pace. After the run, you will learn your pace group and meet your coaches and fellow pace group members.We look forward to meeting you, training with you, and supporting your fitness journey as you join USA FIT Woodlands!
