Join us for the 2023-24 USA FIT Woodlands Season as we start our 21st season of training together!

The USA FIT Woodlands Annual Training Program is back for its 21st season with full marathon and half marathon training programs led by USA FIT Certified Coaches in The Woodlands, Texas. USA FIT Woodlands is all about helping others make positive, life-altering changes. So get ready for an uplifting, motivational, total fitness experience as we train for goal races in October, January, and March. We cater to both new and experienced runners and walkers to accommodate a wide variety of fitness levels. Through the weeks, you’ll reach new milestones, learn new things about running and walking, discover personal characteristics you may not have recognized previously, and enjoy the camaraderie of our running Woodlands Fit family.

When you join the 2023-24 USA FIT Woodlands training season, you’ll receive:

  • Goal-oriented training program in a fun, friendly, non-intimidating environment
  • A USA FIT Woodlands technical training shirt and safety shoe tag
  • Easy-to-follow weekly training schedules for all abilities
  • Training for multiple races including 
    • 10 for Texas & Armadillo 5K in October, 
    • Aramco Half Marathon & Chevron Houston Marathon in January
    • USA FIT Marathon & Fort Bend Kia Half Marathon in January
    • The Woodlands Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K in March 
  • Coach-led and coach-supported Saturday long runs with USA Fit certified and experienced coaches for all pace and ability levels
  • Well-planned routes provided in advance of each Saturday long run
  • Educational Seminars on important training, nutritional and racing information
  • Secured water stops along Saturday routes as mileage increases
  • Weekly informative newsletters
  • Active encouragement and engagement through coach-led Facebook groups and social media platforms
  • Training incentives and reward drawings
  • Social group events

Full & Half Marathon Groups - These programs are the hallmark of USA FIT training led by talented coaches equipped with years and miles of experience and solid pace teams. If you've ever placed a long distance event on your bucket list, choose the distance that fits your goal!

Joining After Initial Pace Placement Run & Walk - We began training in July after initial Pace Placement on July 8 and continue meeting weekly on Saturdays for long routes together. After registering, you will become an active member and begin receiving All Woodlands Fit emails and training group emails from your lead coach (Mike Smith for Full Marathon members, Vicky Gillmor for Half Marathon members). We look forward to meeting you, training with you, and supporting your fitness journey as you join USA FIT Woodlands for another great season!
