CASA of Tarrant County's mission is to speak up for abused and neglected children by training court-appointed volunteers to make recommendations for safe, permanent homes where these children can thrive. CASA of Tarrant County recruits, trains, and supervises local citizens with the necessary skills to be effective voices for children in court. These volunteers are trained and supervised to gather information that helps judges decide the best possible outcome for abused children in foster care. The ultimate goal is to help ensure that children in foster care can find safe, loving, permanent homes where they can thrive. Some children will be united with their parents or relatives, while others make a forever home with adoptive parents. A CASA volunteer is a constant during a frightening, uncertain time. Few volunteer roles have such a critical and immediate impact on the life of a child as that of a CASA volunteer. |

Dear Friends and Family,
Thanks so much for visiting the Mid-Cities Theta Wonder Women team fundraising page! We are so grateful for your interest in supporting the work of Tarrant County CASA. While we are looking forward to participating in the super fun Superhero Fun Run on December 13th, most of all we are looking forward to doing everything we can to bring awareness to the need for CASA advocates to speak up for abused and neglected children in our community.
On behalf of the members of The Mid-Cities Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae Club, thank you for your donation.
Gratefully,
Valerie Holloway Skinner
