My head is spinning.  

We all agree that cancer, in all its forms, sucks. Fighting cancer takes courage, strength and ready or not at the moment of diagnosis patients jump into treatment with all they are and all they have. There is no “waiting until you feel ready or confident”.

I’ve wanted to be part of this race for years now and have had the luxury of waiting until I had the courage to be part of a team completing the event. Perhaps that makes me a bit of a coward relative to these amazing cancer patients and I would have to agree.

We need better cures and treatments. Treatments that don’t kill the human Gil fighting the disease!! Treatments that don’t destroy the body and the organs while killing the cancer, and focus on prevention.
