This year, my team and I are running in honor of Sam. 

Sam is going to be 7 years old this July. He was diagnosed with Autism when he was 3 years old. At age 5, he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This past May, he was diagnosed with ALL leukemia.

Sam is outgoing and doesn't let autism define him nor has he let DMD stop him from trying to run or jump. He is a little trooper even when he gets chemo. He never complains, instead he sucks it up and says okay when his mom tells him it's time for chemo, therapy or doctors visits.

I am humbled by Sam's courage and positivity. It is an honor to be running for Sam.
