The Snowdrop Foundation found a spot in my heart several years ago. They provide college scholarships for pediatric cancer survivors and raise awareness and funding for continued research to cure childhood cancer. Many of you know my connection to oncology through my work. I work as an oncology research nurse in the adult hematology/oncology setting. As a child this was not my dream job, but as an adult it is a place where I thrive and feel like I am making a huge difference in the lives of my patients. I have been to the Snowdrop Ultra 55 Race several years as a crew member for my mother. This year I decided to go all in, I signed up for the race! In addition to running, I hope to raise at the very least $1000 in my support of this wonderful foundation. I am hoping to complete my first 100 miles during this race. Anything else will be a bonus!
