Chelsey’s 5K Walk/Run for Kids- All proceeds from this event will benefit The Snowdrop Foundation (www.snowdropfoundation.org) which benefits Texas Children’s Hospital Cancer Center. Any donations valued at $100 or more will have their names on the back of the shirts. For those of you that do not know, Chelsey was a patient at TCH for many months before she was allowed to return home to spend her last days. She lost her fight with cancer in December 2006. Chelsey would have walked with the class of ’08 had she not lost that battle. We want to walk for Chelsey since this walk for kids was one of her wishes. We appreciate any support you can lend, whether it be a cash donation (checks can be made to Snowdrop Foundation), an in-kind donation, or volunteering for the day of the event. If you need a receipt for your donation, please let whomever picks it up know so we can send it out right away. In advance, thanks for you support of this exciting event. Sign up early. Anyone who signs up after noon one week from the event is not guaranteed a shirt (at least not in their size).
This is a 5K Fun Run that begins at the Santa Fe High School and goes through the streets in Santa Fe.
Money raised at the event supports Snowdrop Foundation's missions.
There is also a Silent Auction at the event.
Students at discounted rate
Can't make it on race day? You can still support the cause by signing up to be a "Virtual Runner" and we will mail you a shirt.
SET UP TIME 4:30 pm--you can bring your own tent 10x10 if you prefer or just your table and chair. Set-up must be ready before the race starts at 6:30pm
TEARDOWN Time Approx. 8:30pm after silent auction has ended.
Booth space measurement is approx 10x10. Please stay within your booth space and do not encroach onto your neighbor’s space. You will be able to pull your car up to the gate to unload, but you will need to move your car as soon as you are finished unloading. We must move the cars quickly to ensure that all sponsors, vendors, and clubs have the same opportunity.
Sponsors/Vendors are responsible for bringing everything needed for a successful day (unless previous arrangements have been made). You must bring your own tent, weights, tables, chairs, and if you need power you must bring a generator. It sometimes gets windy, so please bring sufficient (heavy) weights for your tent and a rope. You are welcomed and encouraged to bring your banners & signs, but please make sure all banners & signs are kept in your booth space. You cannot block your neighbor's area. We ask that everyone respect each other’s space.
Items NOT ALLOWED: Weapons, Silly String or Confetti items, fire works.
You are also expected to clean-up your space, please.
