Event Information

This is a SUPER SPRINT distance race, GREAT for experienced triathletes, as well as prepared first-timers who can swim open water. (Newbies must be COMPETENT swimmers in open water, especially youth.) Our 1st ANNUAL and soon to be popular 500-meter straight-shot, wide, point-to-point lake swim in Saxet Lakes, 10.5 mile 1 loop bike course and 2 mile run through the back trails of the park. Early May weather is normally pleasantly cool, we may start to experience warm temps but not extreme. In 2012 water temp was 80 degrees. Many in the field are first-timers and we look to see a great many military and challenged athletes. All ages 11-80 are welcome. Must be 11 or older to race. Must be a current annual USAT member for $45 at www.usatriathlon.org (preferred), or be billed for a one-day $12 USAT license online. Annual membership for 17-and-under youths is $15. Bring current USAT card and photo ID to pick up your packet in person if annual member. Please practice open water swimming beforehand to be safe. Don't forget we have military and team discount codes! BEFORE you register, send an email to sbrofvictoria@gmail.com with your information. Our staff will review the email and submit codes. All team members get $5 off registration and military discounts are 35% off registration price ($75). Registration increases to $85 on April 1, 2014.
