Come visit the birthplace of the Texas flag and enjoy a run throughout the charming town of Montgomery. This run will start at the back of Montgomery Elementary school off of Clepper St and will consist of a scenic run around Lone Star Pkwy. The purpose of this race is to honor a set of sisters that were both so unexpectedly taken from us, MES teacher Kelsey Knepprath that passed away suddenly from flu complications and her younger sister Sara Hartnett who was a senior at Montgomery High School and was tragically killed in a car wreck in 2008. While we will never understand why these things happened we do know that "...to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Phil 1:21) Given the chapter of life both of these ladies were in we thought it would be most fitting to create a Senior Memorial Scholarship fund in their memory. The family greatly appreciates all those that come out to support this cause in remembrance of Kelsey & Sara.

1/2 marathon and 10K races will begin at 8:00am followed by the 1 mile fun run/walk at 8:30am.

All pre registered finishers will receive a medal and an Angel Run shirt.

PACKET PICK UP ON THURSDAY 2-7PM & FRIDAY 2-5PM @ FLEET FEET.

We will have late packet pick up on Saturday at 6:30am

·       National Anthem by Lone Star Elementary's Singing Stars following prayer.

·      CAP Elite is offering a pre-race warm up at 7:50am for runners who wish to participate.
