At the age of 12 our son Ryan was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (ALCL - Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma) in May of 2019 after 5 months of incorrect diagnoses. He went through chemotherapy treatment and as of the end of August 2019, Ryan is in remission! He suffered other issues due to the chemotherapy and a couple infections which has made the healing process much longer. Just when we were supposed to get the “all clear” 6 month after chemotherapy COVID hit and we were unable to see his doctors for 2 more months; not knowing how susceptible he was to COVID. We received the all clear in late April.
Snowdrop raises funds for pediatric cancer research as well as scholarships to pediatric cancer survivors.
We are thankful for the care and support we received from Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Also, we cannot express enough gratitude for the support and help we have received from family and friends.
Thank you for your support!
