The GORUCK Snowdrop events were created in 2015 by GORUCK Cadre Josh "Roony" Hass to raise money for the Snowdrop Foundation in Appleton, Wisconsin. Over 1/3 of the annual funds this organization raises each year for cancer come from these events. What Josh always said was these events aren't about rucking and they're not about PT. They're about kids and raising money for cancer research by having fun.

Josh served in the US Army with the 75th Ranger Regiment 3rd Battalion and he was a beloved Cadre who led numerous GORUCK events. Sadly, we lost him last year to pancreatic cancer on April 4, 2019. These events continue in his honor.
