Lydia Mix was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome also know as half a heart. She has had 2 open heart surgeries, almost died twice, and was placed on ECMO.  She spent the first 5 months of her life in a hospital.  Since being home she has thrived. She is a strong independent 2 year old. She is very vocal with her feelings even though she cant really talk. 

Conquering CHD was there for our family on day one. We had no idea she had this condition until 36 hours after birth. We were thrown into a world we had no idea about. Thanks to her doctors, nurses, and Conquering CHD we have become strong advocates for our daughter. 

We want other families to be equipped with knowledge and support from other heart families. Please take the time and help this organization that has helped this little girl.
