As an active advocate for raising awareness for and combating against sex trafficking in Texas and the US, I saw this event and fundraiser as an awesome opportunity to get the community involved in the fight as well. Although making a donation to the fundraiser itself is not nessecary to join our team in the 5k run/walk, it would be greatly appreciated and would help this organization greatly in their mission to rescue Houston's youth from the horrible grasp of trafficking.
