Some of you are familiar with this organization and its mission in my community. For those that are not, it is something I am proud to be associated with as they raise funds to support families dealing with childhood cancer. For the past three years my CrossFit affiliate has organized a fundraising event to support their mission – it’s a 3-man, or woman, team event comprised of 3 events, 2 physical with the 3^rd being total funds raised by the team. Last year the event raised $50k, thank you again to those of you who donated last year, and this year we have a goal of $100k. We’ve also invited two additional CrossFit affiliates to participate and we don’t want to be outdone by them.

Since it’s a competition I need you to assign it to my team, The Festivus Fellas, or to my name – either will work. And since the average age of my team is 46.3, and one of my teammates just had thumb surgery, we need all the help we can get. If you know others that would like to help, please forward on.
