I am hopping on a treadmill for the first time in a REALLY long time--all in the name of childhood cancer awareness. I'm excited to join a team of incredible people all on a mission to put an end to childhood cancer. It took my daughter. It took her friends. It has to stop. This is one way I can do my part to make a difference, so I'm putting my best foot forward--literally!

**********Our Story**********

Our beautiful daughter, Paige, was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 13 in January 2014. Less than a month after her 15th birthday, Paige relapsed in September 2015. She underwent three months of extremely intense chemotherapy and received a bone marrow transplant in December 2015. Our sweet girl hit bump after bump on the road to recovery, yet she pressed on through every challenge that came her way. However, Paige's cancer was unrelenting, and she relapsed yet again in July 2016. An unsuccessful attempt at treatment--and lack of safe options--found us cherishing every moment we were given with our beautiful girl until she went to be with Jesus on October 24, 2016. We will continue sharing Paige's story of strength, determination, and unshakable faith with anyone and everyone who will listen. The impact she made in her short 16 years is nothing short of amazing. She inspires me. She inspires many.
