Team Texas- Snowdrop Fundraising for 6th Annual Snowdrop ULTRA 55 Hour Race & Relay
I am so excited to introduce you to Cameron. Cam is a 10 year old boy here in Houston who loves baseball, LOVES the Astros, and is battling pediatric cancer.
He is already incredibly accomplished: he signed on with the Astros last year (I'd argue he was their World Series lucky charm) and threw out the first pitch at an MLB game. But his next biggest challenge may be inspiring and motivating me to complete the Snowdrop ULTRA 55 Hour Race & Relay at the end of the year!! Good luck with that, Cam!
From now until then, I am dedicating every mile to this sweet boy. I can only hope I am as strong and brave as he's been and handle all those the miles with grace.
The road ahead is tough as he still has seven more rounds of treatments remaining to shrink the tumors in his brain. We've only just started our journey together, and I don't quite know the rules and boundaries, and I definitely want to respect his family and their privacy.
