Our family has always been good at making Lemonade out of Lemons, but my oldest grandson Matthew and my daughter Adrienne have taken things to a new level…Six (6) years ago this March they started ACEing Autism Dallas, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and have grown into the nations largest tennis program for autistic individuals.
The program leverages the game of tennis to improve gross and small-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, communications, social skills, and self-esteem. The program also provides students an opportunity to compete in tennis tournaments including the Texas State Special Olympics. Despite efforts to keep tuition low, many of the families simply cannot afford it.
All proceeds from the ACEing Autism Dallas Racquet Run will be used locally to reduce the cost of tuition, provide scholarships for those in need, provide free tennis equipment to students, and offset the cost of participating in the Texas State Special Olympics. Help us make a difference!
