I have been so fortunate in my running adventures over the past 15 years to meet so many awesome people and travel to so many great locations. Whether it was running in the Boston Marathon or finishing the Western States 100, I always felt like hard work and determination would get me over the finish line. On December 30 I will take on a new challenge of trying to complete as many miles as I can in 55 hours. When I first started my running journey's in 2003 it was to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Team in Training program. Now for this race, I will be raising funds for the Snowdrop Foundation that funds cancer research for pediatric cancer patients. I feel that my running has come full circle and I look forward to the challenge of pushing myself at the race but nothing like the challenges that pediatric cancer patients face on a daily basis. I hope you will consider donating to such a worthy cause and my personal goal is to complete 150 miles at the race.
