Hope - Courage - Love
I have a personal goal of raising a minimum of $5000, and honestly I hope everyone donates and we kick that goal’s ass. We all know someone who has sacrificed or suffered through a child’s cancer journey.
My story is about Hayden King. I ran miles and miles and dedicate my runs to Hayden. He was the same age as my youngest, Kaitlyn.
Hayden fought through Osteosarcoma, having a rotationplasty of his lower right leg, attaching his shin to his hip which created a new knee joint with his ankle.
He went through all that and then tumors grew in his lungs. He fought the hard battle and won his wings last August.
I vow to run these 100 miles listening to “Oceans” by Hillsong United for 55 hours, which is what Hayden did near his last days. I praise his mother, Amy King, and father, Derek King, for all they endured then and now. I will do this for Hayden! And he will likely carry my butt through the end!
Please donate to help raise the funds needed to help out families and kids battling pediatric cancer. And let’s #doepicshitforthekids !
