Happy Holidays to everyone! As we all look forward to celebrating with family, I am preparing to run, walk, or possibly even crawl to the finish line to complete 100 miles in 55 hrs, starting on December 30th at 7 am! This will make my 11th year as a runner to participate in this unforgettable event! The race is the Snowdrop Ultra 55 Hour Race and Relay and all the money raised, through the Snowdrop Foundation is used to fund pediatric cancer research at Texas Children’s Hospital, provide college scholarships to cancer survivors, and offers enrichment to pediatric cancer patients during hospital stays. Never before have I waited this late to kick off my fundraising campaign. But, I am just as committed to both my milage and my fundraising goals as I have been in years past!
