As we continue our running and travel journey, one of our goals is to give back by becoming more involved with our Community. We are all touched by a family member or friend that has or currently dealing with Cancer. This year we are ringing in the New Year by running for the Snowdrop Foundation. Their mission is to provide scholarships for college bound pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors while raising awareness and funding for continued research to cure childhood cancer. 

Years ago as a medic in the Air Force, I was blessed to work in the Oncology clinic where I cared for children receiving chemotherapy.  I still remember their strength, courage and hope that has stayed with me for almost 30 years.

My personal goal for this run is to reach 100 miles within 55 hours. Please consider a small donation for this very important cause.
