Here we are again. Another New Year, another opportunity to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research. My goal this year is to raise over $18,000 which would bring my lifetime total raised to $100,000 over the six years I have participated. I can't do that without your support. 

This year is an extra special year for me. In my previous runnings of this event I have done so as a survivor of pediatric cancer but not for any child in particular. In fact, I wasn't going to be running this year at all. I was going to focus on other running goals... That all changed when my friend and former colleague shared on social media that her daughter Brynn was diagnosed... It was a gut punch to say the least. More importantly, it was a reminder of why I'm here. I have a particular set of skills... I can run far, and I can suffer. I've never been all that motivated to run for my own personal goals, but when I have others to run for, it helps push me further. This year will be the first year that I am dedicated a run to a child battling this horrible disease. This year I am running for Brynn the Bulldog. She is an incredible little girl with an amazing spirit, and a determination to kick cancer's ass so she can get back to kicking ass on the soccer field. She will be with me as I run this year and so I am calling on you to help me make these miles as valuable as possible. your pledges per lap will compel me to keep moving forward, moving forward for Brynn, so that we can being an end to this ugly disease, bring an end to the unnecessary suffering it causes these innocent children.

Flat donations are welcome, per lap pledges are preferred, but I'll take it any way you can give it. No amount is too small (or too big).
