Please join me in helping raise funds for ovarian cancer research. One to two $50,000 Sprint for Life grants are awarded every year. 

This year, about 22,440 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and about 14,070 women will die, making ovarian cancer the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancers. Unfortunately, because there is no screening or early detection test available and ovarian cancer symptoms are subtle, only 25% of ovarian tumors are detected before they have progressed to an advanced stage.

This will be my first 5k since having the boys. I figured why not raise money for a good cause at the same time?
