Join Heroes for Children by recognizing and promoting September, as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month within the community!  The Heroes for Children Heart of Gold 5K & Fun Run is a fundraiser for Heroes for Children so that no family with a child battling cancer will fight alone.

Wednesday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thursday, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Race Day, Saturday, September 24 at registration.

6:30 am - Registration Opens

7:30 am – Opening Ceremonies with commemorative balloon release

7:45 am – Family Fun Run

8:15 am – 5K Run/Walk

9:30 am - Awards!!

PARKING INFORMATION
Thank you for participating in the 12th Annual Heroes for Children
Heart of Gold 5K Run/Walk! There will be plenty of parking
available in the Parking Garage at the NE corner of Performance
Court & Performance Drive.
 

EVENT ENTRANCE ONLY FROM I-75N FRONTAGE ROAD
ALL SIDE ROADS WILL BE REROUTED
FROM I-75N - Exit Campbell Rd, stay on frontage road past
Campbell Rd and Galatyn Pkwy. Turn east (right) onto Lookout Dr.
Parking garage will be on the right past Performance Dr.
FROM I-75S – Exit Campbell Rd, make a U-turn under Campbell Rd,
and proceed on the I-75N frontage road past Galatyn Pkwy. Turn
east (right) onto Lookout Dr. Parking garage will be on the right
past Performance Dr.
FROM 190 PGBT – Exit I-75S, then exit Campbell Rd, make a U-turn
under Campbell Rd, and proceed on the I-75N frontage road past
Galatyn Pkwy. Turn east (right) onto Lookout Dr. Parking garage
will be on the right past Performance Dr.
DART – Take the DART red line to the Galatyn Park station.
