Rachel Ramer is a fifth year math teacher in Denison ISD who teaches 8th grade math and 8th grade Advanced Algebra. Early in the 2015-2016 school year, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

 

Rachel is a very special young woman. Although she is just 26 years old, she is blessed with maturity and wisdom beyond her years. She is passionate about her students and works hard to see that all of them succeed, not only in math, but in their journey to becoming young adults. Rachel has a strong faith in Christ that shines through in all that she does. She leaves a sparkle behind everywhere she goes and with everyone that she comes into contact with.

 

Her positive attitude, amazing strength and unending faith are carrying her through this challenge. She is extremely missed at school and staff and students alike are anxious for her to come back!
