Heroes for Children

Heroes for Children advocates for and provides financial and social assistance to families with children (0-22 yrs of age) battling cancer.

Each year, more than 1,200 children will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in the state of Texas.  With diagnosis comes the challenge of providing financial support of the family.  Often, a parent must leave work to care for their child, creating financial stress.  Heroes for Children helps families pay the rent, utilities, medical bills and more. There is no other organization that provides such versatility in its financial assistance to families.  In addition, Heroes for Children provides social assistance through programs like Laptops for Love, Heroes Milestones, Holiday Heroes, Movie Day, Night at the Museum and Valentine’s Dinner.

The assistance Heroes for Children provides enables families to focus on the most important part of the cancer treatment…THE CHILD.

Our vision is that no family with a child battling cancer will fight alone.
