Every year we run this race for the memory of our sweet Elesha, but also for all the other families and children who have found, or will find themselves facing down the giant.  In the 9 years since Elesha fought her battle, there have been so many improvements in treatments available at Cook Children's. Progress is being made and lives are being saved.  If you haven't read the story of how this wonderful event began with a 9 year old's desire to make a difference, I encourage you to check it out - you will be inspired!  The race day itself includes fun kids activities, music, and fantastic free food from several vendors.  I hope you will consider joining team Elesha as a runner, walker, or as a financial supporter.  Thank you!
