Tracee Sumrall suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a car crash on January 8, 2013. She was confined to a wheelchair, but through hard work in therapy and at home was able to advance to using a walker. She started at Project Walk Houston two months ago with the goal of increasing her balance and strength, as well as walking independently. Tracee is now able to take steps unassisted and did so at home for the first time this week.
