Firstly, we want to thank our God, Family & Friends for all the support and prayers after the tragic car accident that our son Jacob was involved in as a passenger on November 21, 2013.  That day changed our family life as we knew it, Jacob was diagnosed as a T4 complete injury level which is in other words a paraplegic. 

Since then Jacob was nursed back to health by the wonderful care that Memorial Hermann Hospital (STICU) & TIRR Memorial Herman provided along with the help of our awesome God.  He was able to come home on January 23, 2014, although it has been an uphill battle with lots of daily challenges and obstacles we do not let go of our hope and faith that Jacob will some day walk again.  He was discharged from out-patient TIRR in April of 2014, according to them Jacob had mastered his disability capabilities as far as they are concerned. But we decided to seek out other possible recovery methods for Jacob and found Project Walk Paralysis Recovery Center.  This non-profit organization/facility has recently opened in Missouri City, Texas but is operated solely on donations that can provide help for costs for Jacob and many others with disabilities that insurance does not cover, so with that being said, please help Jacob meet or exceed his goal.

September is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month, one of the goals of the Fun Run on September 19, 2015 is to create awareness.
