Susan M. Turley was 25 years old when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.  She passed away just 5 months after receiving her diagnosis.

During her brief battle, she and her husband of just 6 months enjoyed a weekend away.  For those few days, they were able to forget about cancer and the impact it had on their lives.

As a memorial to Susan and all other young adults who have suffered from cancer, the Susan M. Turley Foundation provides One Weekend Away for those battling cancer.

Derek's Baconators is a team made up of family and friends who love and miss Derek Beach, lover of all things bacon. After being diagnosed with stage four Hodgkins Lymphoma and a brave 5 year battle, Derek inspired others with his positive attitude, compassion and love for others, and his incredible devotion to his family. As one time recipients of the Weekend Away provided by this great foundation, we hope that other families can partake in it's purpose of letting families momentarily forget their struggle. It is in Derek's beautiful memory that we hope to provide this wonderful opportunity for others.
