The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the following purpose: "Empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America's injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.

Once again it has come to that time of the year, when I try to give something back to those that I "grew up" with and call "brothers". As a veteran myself, I am fortunate enough to have family and friends that have supported me while I was in the Army and also since I retired after 20 years of service to this great nation. Not all of us are that fortunate and some still need a little of our help today.
With that in mind I wanted to let you know that I will be doing the "airborne shuffle" through this event to support a great cause and do my best to help those who need a "hand up" and not a "hand out". I kindly ask and would appreciate your monetary support to help me to reach my goal and remember the folks that help keep us free and who could use that "hand up" as they move forward with life.
