ME STRONG is a 501c3 charity that offers financial support to individuals battling cancer and provides funding for cancer research.    Recipients of ME STRONG grants have been overwhelmed by the generosity of those who assisted in our mission.  Whether it was medical or personal bills being paid, transportation being covered, or gas and grocery cards being provided, they all expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the generosity of complete strangers.

Participant Registration Contract
Please read any waiver carefully. It includes a release of liability and waiver of legal rights and deprives you of the ability to sue certain parties. Do not agree to this document unless you have read and understood it in its entirety. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood the text presented to you as part of the registration process. You also understand and agree that events carry certain inherent dangers and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation personal injury, property damage or death. Your ability to participate in the event(s) is/are subject to your agreement to the waiver and by agreeing herein, you accept and agree to the terms of the waiver and release agreement. You must be over 18 years of age OR the parent/legal guardian of a minor under 18 years of age OR the legal guardian of an incapacitated and/or mentally challenged person in order to agree to the text below. I understand that The Driven Ticketing, Event & Club Solutions does not issue refunds or credits. Any refunds/credits or credit card disputes are at the sole discretion of the event. This charge will appear as ME-STRONG-Lindas-Run- and I will save my confirmation email as evidence of my transaction.
 

I intend to be legally bound, and hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and assigns, waive and release all rights and claims for damages which may hereafter accrue to me against ME STRONG, it's subsidiaries and affiliates, officers, agents, directors, representatives, and sponsors, Alta Vista Sports, City of DeLand as a result of my participation in the ME STRONG 5k for any and all damages or injuries which may be sustained or suffered by me even though such damage or injury may arise out of negligence on the part of any of the parties named above.  If I should suffer injury or illness, I authorize the officials of the race to use their discretion to have me transported to a medical facility and I take full responsibility for these actions.  I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event.  I grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use my photographs, videos, recording or any of the other record of this event for any purposes.  I have read the above release and understand that I am entering this event at my own risk.
