Lace up your running shoes, grab your family and friends, and bring your four-legged best friend! The Bulldog Paws for Patriots 5K Fun Run/Walk, hosted by the Sweeny High School Interact Club, is a community event designed for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Whether you are a serious runner, a casual walker, or simply looking for a fun morning with your family, there is a place for you at the starting line!

🐾 And yes…your dog can join you!
Bring your well-behaved, leashed dog and enjoy the 5K together. After all, this event is all about Bulldog Paws AND Patriots!

Every step we take is a step toward helping veterans in our own community.

The Warrior’s Refuge in West Columbia, Texas, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans experiencing homelessness and veterans facing barriers to stability and independence. Their mission includes providing transitional housing, counseling and support for mental health and substance-use challenges, case management, and education, employment, and vocational resources to help veterans rebuild their lives.

The Warrior’s Refuge works to give veterans more than a place to stay—it provides a pathway from crisis to stability, healing, purpose, and independence.
