2018 CARA Spring Beginning Running

CARA's Beginning Running Program helps new and returning runners progress into running, enhancing health and wellness. Our program prepares participants to complete a 5K at the end of an 8-week group training program.

Run Details:

'Go Run timed-runs are a CARA program providing free timed-runs in local parks. You will have the opportunity to run in these low-key grassroots timed-runs to help prepare you for your goal race. A 1-Mile and 5K run/walk is offered.

** Social Runs will be held in conjunction with CARA's Six Series Social Runs. Enjoy an included social run, social time, a free Lagunitas Beer, appetizers and a raffle at each social run.

*** Join us for race day at the PAWS 5K or our coaches can help you choose another 5K of your choice. Race registration fees are not included.

^ Training Runs will include four training options based on your level. Saturday training runs & learn will include a learning sessions on beginning running basics.
