Registration

Join us for the Funky Heart 5k and Mile Walk to celebrate healthy hearts and funky hearts!  Proceeds from this event go to support the programs of the Pediatric Congenital Heart Association (PCHA) of Michigan.  PCHA of Michigan provides hope and support to families dealing with congenital heart defects from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood.

Packet Pickup

Packets can be picked up at Gazelle Sports, 3930 28th Street on Friday, September 8th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Packets may also be picked up on race day beginning at 7:00 am.

Race Day Schedule

Registration and packet pickup begin at 7:00 AM.

Kids Zone activities begin at 8:15 AM.

5k begins at 8:30 AM.

Mile Walk begins at 9:45 AM.

Tees and Finisher Medals

All 5k and Mile Walk participants registered before August 15th will receive a long sleeve cotton shirt and a custom finisher medal.  For those registering after August 15th, shirts and medals will be available until supplies run out.  Registrants can participate in both the 5k and Mile Walk for one registration fee, but participants will receive only one shirt and one medal.

Course

The 5k and Mile Walk will be on the paved streets of the beautiful Farmers campus.  Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome on both courses.

Timing and Awards

The 5k will be chip-timed.  Participants must return the timing chip at the end of the race or will be charged a $30 fee.  There will be age-group awards for the top male and female finishers.  The Mile Walk will not be timed.

Pets

For the safety and comfort of our participants, pets are not allowed.

Virtual Running

If you can't join us in Caledonia, Michigan, you can run the race virtually wherever you are.  We will send your shirt and finisher medal to the address you provide.
